To celebrate the spooky Halloween season, the news graphics staff at the San Antonio Express-News has created a scary but fun activity for all! It's the Halloween "Monster Maker!"
 
By selecting components of the head, the body, background and caption you can experience the same creative process that inspired Dr. Frankenstein! With over 100,000 possible combinations, you're sure to create a monster that is a very personal expression of your inner weirdness. Illustrator Mike Fisher uses a comic-book style to create the monster pieces and designer Monte Bach uses some snappy Flash programming to bring it all together. Happy Halloween!
