A new site just for Halloween artists and collectors is expected to launch on October 31, 2007.

HalloweenArtists.com will feature the work of some of the best Halloween artists in a wide variety of mediums and styles.

The site and artists featured will focus on Halloween folk art and collectibles including paintings, sculptures, paper mache folk art, altered art and collage, ACEO art cards, wood signs, functional art and more. Begun as a showcase site for the eBay artists group, HA31 (Halloween Artists Gathering), the site currently is home to an online "Haunted House", a gallery of original and spooky Halloween themed folk art. All artists with a love of Halloween are invited to join for free.

The site owners are trying something new, an entirely donations-based site which allows artists to have web pages and display their art with no up-front fees. Free-will donations will be graciously accepted in lieu of any set fees, in the amount and frequency of the artist's choosing. The site will also feature free craft projects, Halloween decor ideas, a Spotlight on Art column, a monthly Newsletter and more.
