Midwest Fantasy Show Debuts in Columbus Ohio


The Midwest Fantasy Show, to be held July 13-15, 2007 in Columbus Ohio at the Doubletree Hotel-Worthington, is a convention for family entertainment professionals including professional Makeup Artists, Face Painters, Airbrush Artists, Henna, Magicians, Balloon Twisters, and more.

The Midwest Fantasy Show is hosted in conjunction with the Midwest Haunters Convention.  These events offer over 45 classes at all levels covering a variety of topics in tracks.  The Midwest Fantasy Show features a Makeup, Face and Body Painting Track, Arts and Entertainment, and Business Track. 

 

Admission to the Midwest Haunters Convention Tradeshow is free with access to over 50 vendor booths.   Midwest Fantasy Show vendors include Silly Farm, the Wolfe Brothers, the U.S. Body Painting Festival, Amerikan Body Art, Bloody Mary and Pashur.   

 

The Midwest Fantasy Show seminars feature a variety of classes from face painting, makeup, magic, juggling, balloon twisting and business.   Makeup Artist seminars are featured by top industry experts including the Wolfe Brothers, Pashur, Heather Banks, Erika Harrison/henna, Pam Trent, Robbie Hay and Gene Flaharty and others.  Makeup classes offered at a range of levels and interests are featured and shared between both shows. 

 

Other classes are instructed by celebrity professionals ~ Chris Handa with magic, Dizzy Doc with balloon twisting, juggling with Luke among many others.  

 

Additional intensive training workshops are offered pre- and post convention including:  Face Painting by the Wolfe Brothers, Henna Art by Erika Harrison, Family Entertaining

Special events include a Friday the 13th Makeup Artist/Entertainers Jam Session and a Fantasy Halloween Body Art Fashion Show; both hosted by MFS Sponsor: the U.S. Body Painting Festival.  The Midwest Haunters Convention features a wealth of educational and social activities throughout the weekend including haunt tours, special receptions and the Scareparts Masquerade Party on Saturday night.

 

Both major industry events will draw top talents in from around the country to Columbus, Ohio- creating unique education, social and shopping opportunities!  Weekend registration is $79 for Saturday and Sunday Seminars for combined Midwest Fantasy Show and Midwest Haunters Convention seminars.
